On Tuesday the 16th of March, 2021 the State Border Guard's officials detected 55 offenders at external borders and within the country.
9 trespassers were detected at external borders, including:
- 1 foreigner was refused entry into Latvia
At the "Riga" Airport Border Control Points 1 citizen of Ukrain was refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigner was not in possession of valid visa or residence permit. Person was returned to the exit country.
- Violations of resident conditions was detected to 1 foreigner
At the Grebneva Border Control Points 1 citizen of Belarus, who violated the conditions of residence in the territory of the Schengen states (exceeded the period of stay laid down in a visa), was detected. Person was subject to administrative liability.
While carrying out immigration control measures within the country violations of entry or residence conditions were detected to 39 persons – 17 citizens of Latvia, 5 – of Lithuania, 4 – of Russia, 3 – of Poland, 2 – of Ukrain, 2 – of Armenia, 2 – of Estonia, 2 – of Uzbekistan, 1 – of Belarus and 1 – of Great Britain.
For violation of terms and conditions in the field of operation of vehicles and vessels 7 persons were subjected to administrative liability or was refused to cross the border by officials of the State Boarder Guard – 3 citizens of Belarus, 3 – of Kazahstan and 1 – of Russia.
