On Wednesday the 20th of March, 2019 the State Border Guard's officials detected 31 offenders at external borders and within the country.
10 trespassers were detected at external borders, including:
1 person with forged documents was detectedAt the Grebņeva Border Control Point 1 citizen of Uzbekistan leaving Latvia by car, who presented forged Bulgarian International Vehicle Insurance Policy, was detected. The forged Vehicle Insurance Policy was seized. The parson was subject to administrative liability.
At the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 1 non-citizen of Latvia, entered the country from Istanbul, who is on the police wanted list, was detected. The man, born in 1978, was detained and handed over to the State Police officers.
2 foreigners were refused entry into LatviaAt the Pāternieki Border Control Point 1 citizen of Ukraine was refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigner could not justify the purpose and conditions of entry into and stay in the country and he was not in possession of sufficient means of subsistence to visit the Schengen states. While at the Terehova Border Control Point 1 citizen of Belarus was refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigner was not in possession of compulsory health insurance policy. The persons were returned to the exit countries.
Violations of resident conditions were detected to 4 foreignersAt the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 1 citizen of Russia, 1 - of Uzbekistan and 2 - of Georgia, who violated the conditions of residence in the territory of the Schengen states (were not in possession of valid visa or residence permit, exceeded the period of stay laid down in a visa), were detected. The persons were subject to administrative liability.
While carrying out immigration control measures within the country violations of entry or residence conditions were detected to 7 persons - 2 citizens of Lithuania, 2 - of Russia, 1 - of India, 1 - of Pakistan and 1 stateless person of Latvia.
For violation of terms and conditions in the field of operation of vehicles and vessels 14 persons were subjected to administrative liability by officials of the State Boarder Guard of Latvia - 4 citizens of Latvia, 4 - of Belarus, 2 - of Russia, 2 - of Lithuania, 1 - of Uzbekistan and 1 - of Estonia.
