On Monday the 22th of March, 2021 the State Border Guard's officials detected 64 offenders at external borders and within the country.
6 trespassers were detected at external borders, including
- 3 persons with forged documents were detected
At the Grebneva Border Control Point 1 citizen of Russia entering Latvia by car, who presented forged Russian vehicle registration certificate, was detected. Criminal proceedings were initiated for use of forged documents. The forged document was seized. In the framework of criminal proceedings the forged document was seized. The man returned to the country of exit.
- 1 citizen of Latvia, who are on the police wanted list, was detained
At the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 1 citizen of Latvia entered the country from Minsk, who is on the Police wanted list, was detected. Person, born in 1991, was detained and handed over to the State Police Officers.
- 1 foreigner was refused entry into Latvia
At the Grebneva Border Control Points 1 citizen of Russia was refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigner was not in possession of valid visa or residence permit. Person was returned to the exit country.
While carrying out immigration control measures within the country violations of entry or residence conditions were detected to 48 persons – 13 citizens of Latvia, 7 – of Ukrain, 6 – of Russia, 4 – of Lithuania, 4 – of Poland, 3 – of Romania, 2 – of Estonia, 2 – of Bulgaria, 2 – of Greece, 2 – of Kyrgyzstan, 1 – of Belarus, 1 – of Austria and 1 – of Chez.
For violation of terms and conditions in the field of operation of vehicles and vessels 10 persons were subjected to administrative liability or was refused to cross the border by officials of the State Boarder Guard – 3 citizens of Belarus, 2 – of Ukrain, 2 – of Russia, 1 – of Latvia, 1 – of Lithuania and 1 – of Austria.
