On Saturday the 23rd of March, 2019 the State Border Guard's officials detected 47 offenders at external borders and within the country.

At the Grebņeva Border Control Point 1 citizen of Belarus entering Latvia by truck, who presented forged Belarusian driving licence, was detected. The person was refused entry into Latvia. The criminal proceedings were initiated for use of forged documents, the forged driving licence was seized, a security measure not related to deprivation of liberty has been applied to the parson.
1 citizen of Latvia, who is on the police wanted list, was detainedAt the Port of Ventspils 1 citizen of Latvia entering from Sweden, who is on the police wanted list, was detected. The man, born in 1991, was detained and handed over to the State Police officers.
6 foreigners were refused entry into LatviaAt the Silene Border Control Point 1 citizen of Belarus was refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigner was not in possession of valid visa or residence permit. While at the Pāternieki Border Control Point 4 citizens of Ukraine were refused entry into the country, as the foreigners could not justify the purpose and conditions of entry into and stay in the country and they were not in possession of sufficient means of subsistence to visit the Schengen states. At the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 1 citizen of Georgia (woman) was refused entry into the country, as the foreigner, has a ban to enter into and stay in the territory of the Schengen Area. The persons were returned to the exit countries.
At the Pāternieki Border Control Point 1 minor citizen of Latvia, who was not in possession of notarially certified agreement of at least one parent for his independent travelling outside Latvia, was detected. The persons were refused exit from the country.
While carrying out immigration control measures within the country violations of entry or residence conditions were detected to 18 persons - 10 citizens of Lithuania, 5 - of Estonia, 1 - of Armenia, 1 - of Russia and 1- of India.
For violation of terms and conditions in the field of operation of vehicles and vessels 14 persons were subjected to administrative liability by officials of the State Boarder Guard of Latvia - 6 citizens of Lithuania, 3 - of Russia, 2 - of Ukraine, 1 - of Belarus, 1 - of Kazakhstan and 1 - of Latvia.
