On Wednesday the 24th of March, 2021 the State Border Guard's officials detected 54 offenders at external borders and within the country.
20 trespassers were detected at external borders, including 1 foreigner was refused entry into Latvia. At the Terehova Border Control Points 1 citizen of Russia was refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigner was not in possession of valid visa or residence permit. Person was returned to the exit country.
While carrying out immigration control measures within the country violations of entry or residence conditions were detected to 27 persons – 6 citizens of Latvia, 6 – of Ukrain, 5 – of Lithuania, 3 – of Russia, 3 – of Poland, 3 – of Romania and 1 – of Belarus.
For violation of terms and conditions in the field of operation of vehicles and vessels 7 persons were subjected to administrative liability or was refused to cross the border by officials of the State Boarder Guard – 2 citizens of Russia, 2 – of Belarus, 1 – of Latvia, 1 – of Lithuania and 1 – of Serbia.
