On Sunday the 25th of March, 2018 the State Border Guard's officials detected 37 offenders at external borders and within the country.

At the Terehova Border Control Point 1 citizen of Ukrain was refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigner was not in possession of valid visa or residence permit, while at the Airport "Riga" Border Control Point 3 citizens of Moldova, 2 - of Ukrain and 1 - of Georgia were refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigners could not justify the purpose and conditions of entry into and stay in the country. Persons were returned to the countries of exit.At the Terehova, Paternieku and Airport "Riga" Border Control Point 2 citizens of Russia and 1 - Ukrain, who violated the conditions of residence (residence after expiry of residence permit indicated in visa, absence of valid visa or residence permit) in Schengen countries. Record-keeping regarding administrative violations committed by citizen of Ukrain was not commenced, other persons were subjected to administrative liability.While carrying out immigration control measures within the country violations of entry or residence conditions were detected to 6 persons - 4 citizens of Lithuania, 1 - of Ukrain and 1 - of Russia.
For violation of terms and conditions in the field of operation of vehicles and vessels 13 persons were subjected to administrative liability by officials of the State Boarder Guard of Latvia - 6 citizens of Russia, 5 - of Latvia and 2 - of Belarus.
