On Thursday the 25th of March, 2021 the State Border Guard's officials detected 52 offenders at external borders and within the country.
5 trespassers were detected at external borders, including
- 1 citizen of Latvia, who are on the police wanted list, was detained
At the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 1 citizen of Latvia entered the country from Finland, who is on the Police wanted list, was detected. Person, born in 1993, was detained and handed over to the State Police Officers.
- 1 foreigner was refused entry into Latvia
At the Grebneva Border Control Points 1 citizen of Belarus was refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigner was not in possession of valid visa or residence permit. Person was returned to the exit country.
While carrying out immigration control measures within the country violations of entry or residence conditions were detected to 37 persons – 13 citizens of Russia, 6 – of Lithuania, 4 – of Estonia, 4 – of Latvia, 3 – of Ukrain, 2 – of Slovakia, 2 – of Poland, 1 – of France, 1 – of Romania and 1 – of Uzbekistan.
For violation of terms and conditions in the field of operation of vehicles and vessels 10 persons were subjected to administrative liability or was refused to cross the border by officials of the State Boarder Guard – 2 citizens of Russia, 2 – of Belarus, 2– of Lithuania, 1 – of Latvia, 1 – of Kyrgyzstan, 1 – of Poland and 1 – of Uzbekistan.
