On Saturday the 30th of March, 2019 the State Border Guard's officials detected 40 offenders at external borders and within the country.
22 trespassers were detected at external borders, including:
1 citizen of Russia with forged documents was detectedAt the Terehova Border Control Point 1 citizen of Russia entering Latvia, who presented forged Polish residence permit, was detected. The forged document was seized, the parson was subject to administrative liability and she was returned to the exit country.
8 foreigners were refused entry into LatviaAt the Pāternieki and the "Riga" Airport Silene Border Control Points 1 citizen of Belarus, 1 - of Georgia and 5 - of Ukraine were refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigners could not justify the purpose and conditions of entry into and stay in the country and they were not in possession of sufficient means of subsistence to visit the Schengen states; as well as 1 citizen of Belarus was refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigner has a ban to enter into and stay in the territory of the Schengen Area. The persons were returned to the exit countries.
Violations of resident conditions were detected to 2 foreignersAt the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 1 citizen of Russia and 1 - of Nigeria, who violated the conditions of residence in the territory of the Schengen states (exceeded the period of stay laid down in a visa), were detected. The persons were subject to administrative liability.
While carrying out immigration control measures within the country violations of entry or residence conditions were detected to 3 persons - 2 citizens of Russia and 1 - of Lithuania.
For violation of terms and conditions in the field of operation of vehicles and vessels 15 persons were subjected to administrative liability by officials of the State Boarder Guard of Latvia - 8 citizens of Latvia, 2 - of Lithuania, 2 - of Estonia, 2 - of Belarus and 1 - of Russia.
