On Tuesday the 30th of March, 2021 the State Border Guard's officials detected 51 offenders at external borders and within the country.
9 trespassers were detected at external borders, including
- 1 citizen of Latvia, who are on the police wanted list, was detained
During immigration control, in Jelgava district 1 citizen of Latvia, who is on the Police wanted list, was detected. Person, born in 1987, was detained and handed over to the State Police Officers.
- 2 foreigners were refused entry into Latvia
At the Paternieki Border Control Points 1 citizen of Belarus was refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigner was not in possession of valid visa or residence permit, and 1 citizen of Belarus was refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigner violated Cabinet of Ministers Regulation No. 360 "Epidemiological precautions to control the spread of Covid - 19 infection". Persons were returned to the exit countries.
- Violations of resident conditions was detected to 1 foreigner
At the Airport “Riga” Border Control Points 1 citizen of Israel, who violated the conditions of residence in the territory of the Schengen states (exceeded the period of stay of the visa-free regime), was detected. Person was subject to administrative liability.
While carrying out immigration control measures within the country violations of entry or residence conditions were detected to 31 persons – 9 citizens of Latvia, 6 – of Romania, 3 – of Russia, 3 – of Lithuania, 3 – of Poland, 2 – of Belarus, 2 – of Ukrain, 2 – of Hungary and 1 – of Slovakia.
For violation of terms and conditions in the field of operation of vehicles and vessels 11 persons were subjected to administrative liability or was refused to cross the border by officials of the State Boarder Guard – 3 citizens of Kazahstan, 2 – of Latvia, 2 – of Belarus, 2 – of Ukrain, 1 – of Lithuania and 1 – of Kyrgyzstan.
