On Wednesday, the 1st May 2019 State Border Guard officials detected 39 offenders at external borders and within country.

Detected one foreigner with falsified documentsAt the border control point "Teherova" 1 citizen of Uzbekistan entering Latvia by truck, who presented falsified German International Vehicle Insurance Policy has been detected. Detected falsified document were seized.
Entry into the Republic of Latvia has been refused for three personsAt the border control point "Grebņeva" entry into territory of the Republic of Latvia has been refused for 2 citizens of India as foreigner was not in possession of valid visa or residence permit. At border crossing point in the Riga International Airport entry into territory of the Republic of Latvia has been refused for 1 citizen of Ukraine because he already gained the limit of 90 day residence into 180 period in Schengen area. All persons returned to the country of departure.
Five persons detected violating residence conditions2 citizens of Uzbekistan, 2 citizens of Belarus and 1 citizen of Ukraine who had violated condition of the residence in the Republic of Latvia had been detected into border control points "Terehova" and "Pāternieki". Violations of residence conditions was invalid visa or residence permit, exceeded in visa allowed period of residence into the Republic of Latvia, etc. Persons had been subjected to administrative liability.
Departure of the country refused for one personAt border control point "Zilupe" detected one non-citizen of the Republic of Latvia with invalid passport for traveling outside Schengen area. Departure of the Republic of Latvia for person has been denied.
Performing immigration control activities within the country violation of entry or residence condition into the Republic of Latvia have been detected for 5 citizens of Lithuania.
For violation of terms and conditions in the field of operation of vehicles and water transport the State Border Guard of Latvia subjected to administrative liability 18 persons - 6 citizens of Russia, 4 citizens of Latvia, 3 citizens of Belarus, 2 citizens of Uzbekistan, 2 citizens of Lithuania and 1 citizen of Ukraine.
