On Friday the 3rd of May, 2019 the State Border Guard's officials detected 42 offenders at external borders and within the country.

18 trespassers were detected at external borders, including:

3 foreigners with forged documents were detected

At the Pāternieki Border Control Point 3 citizens of Kirgizstan entering Latvia by truck with trailer, who presented forged Bulgarian International Vehicle Insurance Policy, were detected. The forged documents were seized.

2 foreigners were refused entry into Latvia

At the Terehova and the "Riga" Airport Border Control Points 1 citizen of Russia and 1 citizen of Kazakhstan were refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigners were not in possession of valid visa or residence permit. The persons were returned to the exit countries.

Violations of resident conditions were detected to 2 foreigners

At the Terehova and the "Riga" Airport Border Control Points 1 citizen of Uzbekistan and 1 - of Kazakhstan, who violated the conditions of residence in the territory of the Schengen states (were not in possession of valid visa or residence permit, exceeded the period of stay laid down in a visa), were detected. The persons were subject to administrative liability.

While carrying out immigration control measures within the country violations of entry or residence conditions were detected to 4 persons - 1 citizen of Lithuania, 1 - of Russia, 1 - of India and 1 - of Kirgizstan.

For violation of terms and conditions in the field of operation of vehicles and vessels 20 persons were subjected to administrative liability by officials of the State Boarder Guard of Latvia - 5 citizens of Russia, 4 - of Latvia, 4 - of Belarus, 2 - of Kazakhstan, 1 - of Georgia, 1 - of Rumania, 1 - of Ukraine, 1 - of Lithuania and 1 - of Estonia.
