On Monday the 6th of May, 2019 the State Border Guard's officials detected 45 offenders at external borders and within the country.
24 trespassers were detected at external borders, including:
1 foreigner with forged documents was detectedAt the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 1 citizen of Uzbekistan, who presented forged Greek residence permit, was detected. Criminal proceedings were initiated for use of forged documents. The man was placed in a State Police short-term place of detention.
8 foreigners were refused entry into LatviaAt the Terehova, the Pāternieki, the Grebņeva and the "Riga" Airport Border Control Points 2 citizens of Ukraine were refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigners were not in possession of valid travel document; 1 citizen of Moldova, 1 - of Russia and 1 - of Kazakhstan were refused entry into the country, as the foreigners were not in possession of valid visa or residence permit; 2 citizens of Ukraine were refused entry into the country, as the foreigners could not justify the purpose and conditions of entry into and stay in the country and they were not in possession of sufficient means of subsistence to visit the Schengen states; as well as 1 citizen of Russia (female) was refused entry into the country, as the foreigner has resided on the territory of Schengen member states for 90 days within the previous 180-day period. The persons were returned to the exit countries.
Violations of resident conditions were detected to 2 foreignersAt the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 2 citizens of Russia, who violated the conditions of residence in the territory of the Schengen states (exceeded the period of stay laid down in a visa), were detected. Record-keeping regarding administrative violations committed by the citizens of Russia was not commenced.
While carrying out immigration control measures within the country violations of entry or residence conditions were detected to 1 citizen of Lithuania.
For violation of terms and conditions in the field of operation of vehicles and vessels 20 persons were subjected to administrative liability by officials of the State Boarder Guard of Latvia - 14 citizens of Belarus, 3 - of Russia, 1 - of Lithuania, 1 - of Latvia and 1 - of France.
