On Sunday the 10th of May, 2020 the State Border Guard's officials detected 24 offenders at external borders and within the country.

21 trespassers were detected at external borders, including:

2 foreigners were refused entry into Latvia

At the Silene Border Control Point 1 citizen of Belarus was refused entry into the country, as the foreigner was not in possession of valid visa or residence permit, but at the Pāternieki Border Control Point 1 citizen of Belarus was refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigner could not justify the purpose and conditions of entry into and stay in the country. The persons were returned to the exit countries.

Violations of resident conditions were detected to 13 foreigners

At the Silene Border Control Point 13 citizens of Ukraine, who violated the conditions of residence in the territory of the Schengen states (exceeded the period of stay of the visa free regime), were detected. The persons were subject to administrative liability. Record-keeping regarding administrative violations committed by the 2 citizens of Ukrain were not commenced, the other persons were subject to administrative liability.

For violation of terms and conditions in the field of operation of vehicles and vessels 3 persons were subjected to administrative liability or were refused to cross the border by officials of the State Boarder Guard of Latvia - 1 citizen of Poland, 1 - of Kazahstan and 1 - of Belarus.
