On Monday the 10th of May, 2021 the State Border Guard's officials detected 36 offenders at external borders and within the country.
15 trespassers were detected at external borders, including
- 6 persons with forged documents were detected
In Airport “Riga” Border control point 1 citzen of Latvia and during imigration control, in Rucava district 2 citizens of Lithuania with forged Covid-19 tests were detected, while during imigration control, in Ainazi 3 citizens of Ukrain, who presented to border guards Covid-19 tests which do not correspond to the samples held by the State Border Guard. Administrative proceeding has been initiated against 1 citizen of Latvia, other persons were subject to administrative liability.
- Entry to Latvia was denied to 1 foreigner
At the Silene Border Control Points 1 citizen of Belarus was refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigner has resided on the territory of Schengen member states for 90 days within the previous 180-day period. The person was returned to the country of exit.
- Violations of resident conditions was detected to 1 foreigner
At the Silene Border Control Points 1 citizen of Belarus, who violated the conditions of residence in the territory of the Schengen states (was not inpossition of valid visa or residence permit), was detected. Person was subject to administrative liability.
While carrying out immigration control measures within the country violations of entry or residence conditions were detected to 15 persons – 6 citizens of Latvia, 3 – of Lithuania, 1 – of Estonia, 1 – of Bulgaria, 1 – of Romania, 1 – of Ukrain, 1 of China and 1 person ithuania, 4 – of Russia, 4 – of Poland, 3 – of Latvia, 1 – of Estonia, 1 – of Romania and 1 – of China and 1 person without a defined status.
For violation of terms and conditions in the field of operation of vehicles and vessels 6 persons were subjected to administrative liability or was refused to cross the border by officials of the State Boarder Guard – 2 citizens of Latvia, 2 – of Belarus, 1 – of Rusia and 1 – of Lithuania.
