On Wednesday, the 12th of May State Border Guard officials at the external border within the country detected 42 offenders.
At the external border 6 offenders were detected, including entry in to Latvia was denied to 1 foreigner. At Paternieki Border Control Point entry to the Latvia was denied to Ukrain citizen, as the foreigner was not in possession of valid visa or residence permit. Person was returned to the country of departure.
While carrying out immigration control measures within the country violations of entry or residence conditions were detected to 32 persons – 11 citizens of Latvia, 4 – of Russia, 4 – of Ukrain, 2 – of Uzbekistan, 2 – of Estonia, 1 – of Latvia, 1 – of Belgium, 1 – of Bulgaria, 1 – of India, 1 – of Cosova, 1 – of Germany and 1 – of Shrilank.
For violation of terms and conditions in the field of operation of vehicles and vessels 4 persons were subjected to administrative liability or was refused to cross the border by officials of the State Boarder Guard – 2 citizens of Russia, 1 – of Belarus and 1 – of Kazahstan.
