On Monday, the 13th of May 2019 State Border Guard's officials detected 40 offenders at external borders and within country.
23 trespassers were detected at the external borders, inter alia:Non - citizen of the Republic of Latvia in wanted list has been detained.At the border control point in the Riga International Airport detected from Berlin arriving non-citizen of the Republic of Latvia at the moment in wanted list. Man born 1980 was detained and handed over to State Police officials.
Entry into the Republic of Latvia has been refused for ten persons.At the border control point "Terehova" entry into territory of the Republic of Latvia has been refused for 1 citizen of Russia as foreigner was not in possession of valid visa or residence permit. At the border crossing points "Pāternieki" and in the Riga International Airport entry refused for 5 citizens of Ukraine, 3 citizens of Azerbaijan and 1 citizen of Kazakhstan, as the foreigners could not justify the purpose and conditions of entry and were not into possession of sufficient funds to visit the Schengen area. All persons returned to the country of departure.
Five persons detected violating residence conditions.At the border control point "Terehova" and in the Riga International Airport detected 1 citizen of Azerbaijan and 4 citizens of Russia who violated conditions of the residence in Schengen area (was not in possession of valid visa or residence permit, exceeded in visa allowed period of stay, etc.). All persons except one citizen of Russia (due to the minor of offense) had been subjected to administrative liability.
Departure of the country refused for one citizen of Latvia.At the border control point "Zilupe" detected one citizen of the Republic of Latvia who was not in possession of valid travel document. Departure of the Republic of Latvia for person has been denied.
Performing immigration control activities within the country violation of entry or residence conditions into the Republic of Latvia have been detected for 1 citizen of Latvia, 1 citizen of Estonia and 1 citizen of Lithuania.
Violating terms and conditions in the field of operation of vehicles and water transport the State Border Guard of Latvia subjected to administrative liability 14 persons - 4 citizens of Russia, 2 citizens of Lithuania, 2 citizens of Latvia, 2 citizens of Germany, 1 citizen of China, 1 citizen of Belarus, 1 citizen of Poland and 1 citizen of Uzbekistan.
