On Tuesday the 25th of May, 2020 the State Border Guard's officials detected 28 offenders at external borders and within the country.

19 trespassers were detected at external borders, including:

1 foreigner was refused entry into Latvia

At the Grebneva Border Control Point 1 citizen of Russia was refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigner could not justify the purpose and conditions of entry into and stay in the country. The person was returned to the exit countries.

Violations of resident conditions were detected to 8 foreigners

At the Pededze and Silene Border Control Points 1 citizen of Russia and 7 - of Ukraine, who violated the conditions of residence in the territory of the Schengen states (were not in possession of valid visa or residence permit, exceeded the period of stay of the visa free regime), were detected. Record-keeping regarding administrative violations committed by the citizen of Russia and two citizens of Ukrain were not commenced, the other persons were subject to administrative liability.

For violation of terms and conditions in the field of operation of vehicles and vessels 9 persons were subjected to administrative liability or were refused to cross the border by officials of the State Boarder Guard of Latvia - 4 citizens of Belarus, 2 - of Russia, 1 - of Latvia, 1 - of Lithuania and 1 - of Ukrain.
