On Friday the 29th of May, 2020 the State Border Guard's officials detected 28 offenders at external borders and within the country.

22 trespassers were detected at external borders, including:

1 foreigner was refused entry into Latvia

At the Silene Border Control Point 1 citizen of Ukraine was refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigner was not in possession of valid visa or residence permit. The person was returned to the exit country.

Violations of resident conditions were detected to 16 foreigners

At the Grebņeva, the Terehova and the Silene Border Control Points 14 citizens of Ukraine, 1 - of Iran and 1 - of Russia, who violated the conditions of residence in the territory of the Schengen states (exceeded the period of stay of the visa free regime, were not in possession of valid visa or residence permit, exceeded the period of stay laid down in a visa), were detected. Administrative sanction was not imposed on the citizen of Russia, the other persons were subject to administrative liability.

For violation of terms and conditions in the field of operation of vehicles and vessels 6 persons were subjected to administrative liability or were refused to cross the border by officials of the State Boarder Guard of Latvia - 2 citizens of Latvia, 2 - of Lithuania, 1 - of Belarus and 1 - of Serbia.
