On Thursday the 1st of November, 2018 the State Border Guard's officials detected 45 offenders at external borders and within the country.

34 trespassers were detected at external borders, including:

5 foreigners were refused entry into Latvia

At the Grebņeva Border Control Point 1 citizen of Russia was refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigner was not in possession of valid visa or residence permit, and 1 citizen of Russia was refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigner has a ban to enter into and stay in the territory of the Schengen Area. While at the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 2 citizens of Ukraine and 1 - of Egypt were refused entry into the country as the foreigners could not justify the purpose and conditions of entry into and stay in the country and they were not in possession of sufficient means of subsistence to visit the Schengen states. The persons were returned to the exit countries.

Violations of resident conditions were detected to 2 foreigners

At the Pāternieki and the "Riga" Airport Border Control Points 1 citizen of Ukraine and 1 - of USA, who violated the conditions of residence in the territory of the Schengen states (were not in possession of valid visa or residence permit, exceeded the period of stay of the visa-free regime), were detected. The persons were subject to administrative liability.

3 citizens of Latvia were refused exit from the country

At the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 3 citizens of Latvia, who were not in possession of valid travel document, were detected. The persons were refused exit from the country.

While carrying out immigration control measures within the country violations of entry or residence conditions were detected to 4 persons - 1 citizen of Lithuania, 1 - of Estonia, 1 - of Uzbekistan and 1 - of Russia.

For violation of terms and conditions in the field of operation of vehicles and vessels 7 persons were subjected to administrative liability by officials of the State Boarder Guard of Latvia - 2 citizens of Belarus, 1 - of Lithuania, 1 - of Latvia, 1 - of Moldova, 1 - of Azerbaijan and 1 - of Russia.
