Events at the state border and within the country - November 01, 2019

On Friday the 1st of November, 2019 the State Border Guard's officials detected 32 offenders at external borders and within the country.

At the Pāternieki Border Control Point 1 citizen of Belarus was refused entry into the country, as the foreigner was not in possession of valid visa or residence permit. The person was returned to the exit country.

At the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 1 citizen of Russia and 1 - of Ukraine, who violated the conditions of residence in the territory of the Schengen states (exceeded the period of stay laid down in a visa, exceeded the period of stay of the visa-free regime), were detected. Record-keeping regarding administrative violations committed by the citizen of Russia was not commenced, the citizen of Ukraine was subject to administrative liability.

While carrying out immigration control measures within the country violations of entry or residence conditions were detected to 5 persons - 1 citizen of Ukraine, 1 - of Moldova, Uzbekistan, 1 -of Estonia, 1 - of Lithuania and 1 - of Russia.

For violation of terms and conditions in the field of operation of vehicles and vessels 14 persons were subjected to administrative liability by officials of the State Boarder Guard of Latvia - 8 citizens of Russia, 2 - of Ukraine, 1 - of Serbia, 1 - of Belarus, 1 - of Latvia and 1 - of Lithuania.
