On Monday the 5th of November, 2018 the State Border Guard's officials detected 34 offenders at external borders and within the country.

14 trespassers were detected at external borders, including:

3 foreigners were refused entry into Latvia

At the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 2 citizens of Ukraine and 1 - of Belarus were refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigners could not justify the purpose and conditions of entry into and stay in the country. The persons were returned to the exit countries.

Violations of resident conditions were detected to 5 foreigners

At the Grebņeva, the Pāternieki, the Silene and the "Riga" Airport Border Control Points 1 citizen of Russia and 4 - of Ukraine, who violated the conditions of residence in the territory of the Schengen states (exceeded the period of stay laid down in a visa, exceeded the period of stay of the visa-free regime), were detected. The persons were subject to administrative liability.

While carrying out immigration control measures within the country violations of entry or residence conditions were detected to 4 persons - 2 citizens of Russia, Lithuania, 1 - of India and 1 - of Estonia.

For violation of terms and conditions in the field of operation of vehicles and vessels 16 persons were subjected to administrative liability by officials of the State Boarder Guard of Latvia - 5 citizens of Latvia, 5 - of Belarus, 3 - of Russia, 1 - of Estonia, 1 - of Serbia and 1 - of Lithuania.
