On Tuesday the 5th of November, 2019 the State Border Guard's officials detected 35 offenders at external borders and within the country.
21 trespassers were detected at external borders, including:
1 foreigner with forged documents was detectedWhile carrying out immigration control measures, at the Port of Ventspils 1 citizen of Latvia with forged Latvian Driving Licence was detected. The person and the forged document were handed over to the State Police.
7 foreigners were refused entry into LatviaAt the "Riga" Airport and the Pāternieki Border Control Points 1 citizen of Iraqi, 1 - of Moldova and 5 - of Ukraine were refused entry into the country, as the foreigners could not justify the purpose and conditions of entry into and stay in the country and they were not in possession of sufficient means of subsistence to visit the Schengen states. The persons were returned to the exit countries.
Violations of resident conditions were detected to 1 foreignerAt the Grebņeva Border Control Point 1 citizen of Russia, who violated the conditions of residence in the territory of the Schengen states (exceeded the period of stay laid down in a visa), was detected. The person was subject to administrative liability.
3 citizens of Latvia were refused exit from the countryAt the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 3 minor citizens of Latvia, who were not in possession of at least one parent's agreement for a children independent travelling outside Latvia, were detected. The persons were refused exit from the country.
While carrying out immigration control measures within the country violations of entry or residence conditions were detected to 4 persons - 2 citizens of Estonia, 1 - of Russia and 1 - of Uzbekistan.
For violation of terms and conditions in the field of operation of vehicles and vessels 10 persons were subjected to administrative liability by officials of the State Boarder Guard of Latvia - 6 citizens of Russia, 2 - of Belarus, 1 - of Poland and 1 - of Ukraine.
