On Tuesday the 1st of November, 2020 the State Border Guard's officials detected 21 offenders at external borders and within the country.
12 trespassers were detected at external borders:
- 1 foreigner was refused entry into Latvia
At the “Riga” Airport Border Control Point 1 citizen of Georgia was refused entry into Latvia as the foreigner has resided on the territory of Schengen member states for 90 days within the previous 180-day period. The person was returned to the exit countries.
- Violations of resident conditions was detected to 5 foreigners
At the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 5 citizens of Georgia, who violated the conditions of residence in the territory of the Schengen states (exceeded the period of stay specified in the visa-free regime), was detected. Persons were subject to administrative liability.
While carrying out immigration control measures within the country violations of entry or residence conditions were detected to 5 persons – 3 citizens of Georgia, 1 – of Estonia and 1 – of Uzbekistan.
For violation of terms and conditions in the field of operation of vehicles and vessels 11 persons were subjected to administrative liability or were refused to cross the border by officials of the State Boarder Guard - 6 citizens of Belarus, 1 – of Russia, 1 – of Lithuania, 1 – of Kirgizstan, 1 – of Ukrain and 1 – of Lithuania.
