On Tuesday the 10th of November, 2020 the State Border Guard's officials detected 13 offenders at external borders and within the country.
5 trespassers were detected at external borders:
- Entry to Latvia was denied to 1 foreigner
At the Silene Border Control Point 1 citizen of Russia was refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigner could not justify the purpose and conditions of entry into and stay in the country. The person was returned to the exit country.
- Violations of resident conditions was detected to 1 foreigner
At the Grebneva Border Control Point 1 citizen of Ukrain, who violated the conditions of residence in the territory of the Schengen states (was not in possession of valid visa or residence permit), was detected. Person was subject to administrative liability.
While carrying out immigration control measures within the country violations of entry or residence conditions were detected to 1 citizen of Belarus.
For violation of terms and conditions in the field of operation of vehicles and vessels 7 persons were subjected to administrative liability by officials of the State Boarder Guard of Latvia – 2 citizens of Russia, 2 – of Lithuania, 1 – of Belarus, 1 – of Kazahstan and 1 – of Latvia.
