On Monday the 11th of November, 2019 the State Border Guard's officials detected 25 offenders at external borders and within the country.
16 trespassers were detected at external borders, including:
4 foreigners were refused entry into LatviaAt the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 1 citizen of Venezuela was refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigner was not in possession of valid travel documents; as well as 2 citizens of Sudan were refused entry into the country, as the foreigners could not justify the purpose and conditions of entry into and stay in the country and they were not in possession of sufficient means of subsistence to visit the Schengen states. While at the Silene Border Control Point 1 citizen of Ukraine was refused entry into the country, as the foreigner has resided on the territory of Schengen member states for 90 days within the previous 180-day period.
Violations of resident conditions were detected to 4 foreignersAt the Zilupe and the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 3 citizens of Russia and 1 - of Uzbekistan, who violated the conditions of residence in the territory of the Schengen states (were not in possession of valid visa or residence permit, exceeded the period of stay laid down in a visa), were detected. Record-keeping regarding administrative violations committed by 1 citizen of Russia was not commenced, the other persons were subject to administrative liability.
For violation of terms and conditions in the field of operation of vehicles and vessels 9 persons were subjected to administrative liability by officials of the State Boarder Guard of Latvia - 3 citizens of Belarus, 3 - of Latvia, 1 - of Serbia, 1 - of Moldova and 1 - of Azerbaijan.
