On Tuesday the 13th of November, 2018 the State Border Guard's officials detected 31 offenders at external borders and within the country.
12 trespassers were detected at external borders, including:
1 citizen of Belarus with forged documents was detectedAt the Terehova Border Control Point 1 citizen of Belarus, leaving Latvia by car, was detained for use of forged Belarusian Vehicle Registration Certificates. The person was subject to administrative liability.
1 citizen of Latvia, who is on the police wanted list, was detainedAt the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 1 citizen of Latvia, entered the country from Berlin, who is on the police wanted list was detected. The man, born in 1974, was detained and handed over to the State Police officers.
5 foreigners were refused entry into LatviaAt the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 4 citizens of Ukraine were refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigners could not justify the purpose and conditions of entry into and stay in the country and they were not in possession of sufficient means of subsistence to visit the Schengen states. While at the Terehova Border Control Point 1 citizen of Moldova was refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigner has a ban to enter into and stay in the territory of the Schengen Area. The persons were returned to the exit countries.
While carrying out immigration control measures within the country violations of entry or residence conditions were detected to 4 persons - 2 citizens of Russia, 1 - of Lithuania and 1 - of Estonia.
For violation of terms and conditions in the field of operation of vehicles and vessels 15 persons were subjected to administrative liability by officials of the State Boarder Guard of Latvia - 8 citizens of Latvia, 3 - of Russia, 2 - of Lithuania, 1 - of Belarus and 1 - of Moldova.
