On Wednesday the 13th of November, 2019 the State Border Guard's officials detected 29 offenders at external borders and within the country.
16 trespassers were detected at external borders, including:
1 citizen of Latvia, who is on the police wanted list, was detainedWhile carrying out profiling of entered passengers, at the Riga Passenger Port 1 citizen of Latvia, entered Latvia from Stockholm, who is on the Police wanted list, was detected. The man, born in 1980, was detained and handed over to the State Police officers.
2 foreigners were refused entry into LatviaAt the Grebņeva Border Control Point 1 citizen of Russia was refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigner was not in possession of valid visa or residence permit. While at the Silene Border Control Point 1 citizen of Belarus was refused entry into the country, as the foreigner has resided on the territory of Schengen member states for 90 days within the previous 180-day period. The persons were returned to the exit countries.
Violations of resident conditions were detected to 1 foreignerAt the Terehova Border Control Point 1 citizen of Russia, who violated the conditions of residence in the territory of the Schengen states (exceeded the period of stay laid down in a visa), was detected. The person was subject to administrative liability.
While carrying out immigration control measures within the country violations of entry or residence conditions were detected to 7 persons - 4 citizen of Russia, 2 - of Estonia and 1 - of Latvia.
For violation of terms and conditions in the field of operation of vehicles and vessels 6 persons were subjected to administrative liability by officials of the State Boarder Guard of Latvia - 2 citizens of Russia, 1 - of Latvia, 1 - of Moldova, 1 - of Ukraine and 1 - of Lithuania.
