On Thursday the 14th of November, 2019 the State Border Guard's officials detected 29 offenders at external borders and within the country.

16 trespassers were detected at external borders, including:

1 foreigner with forged documents was detected

At the Terehova Border Control Point 1 citizen of Russia entered Latvia, who presented forged Ukraine Driving Licence, was detected. Criminal proceedings were initiated for the use of forged documents. The forged document was seized within the framework of the criminal proceedings.

5 foreigners were refused entry into Latvia

At the Pāternieki Border Control Point 3 citizens of Ukraine were refused entry into the country, as the foreigners were not in possession of valid visa or residence permit. At the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 1 citizen of Ukraine was refused entry into the country, as the foreigner could not justify the purpose and conditions of entry into and stay in the country and he was not in possession of sufficient means of subsistence to visit the Schengen states; as well as 1 citizen of Georgia was refused entry into the country, as the foreigner has resided on the territory of Schengen member states for 90 days within the previous 180-day period. The persons were returned to the exit countries.

Violations of resident conditions were detected to 3 foreigners

At the Grebņeva, the Pāternieki and the "Riga" Airport Border Control Points 1 citizen of Russia, 1 - of Belarus and 1 of Kirgizstan, who violated the conditions of residence in the territory of the Schengen states (were not in possession of valid visa or residence permit), were detected. The persons were subject to administrative liability.

While carrying out immigration control measures within the country violations of entry or residence conditions were detected to 1 citizen of Belarus.

For violation of terms and conditions in the field of operation of vehicles and vessels 12 persons were subjected to administrative liability by officials of the State Boarder Guard of Latvia - 4 citizens of Lithuania, 3 - of Belarus, 2 - of Russia, 1 - of Latvia, 1 - of Ukraine and 1 - of France.
