On Tuesday the 17th of November, 2020 the State Border Guard's officials detected 26 offenders at external borders and within the country.
8 trespassers were detected at external borders:
- 1 person with forged documents was detected
At the Terehova Border Control Point 1 citizen of Belarus, exited from Latvia with forged Belarus International Vehicle Insurance Policy was detected. The person was subject to administrative liability.
- Entry into Latvia was denied to 1 foreigner
At Grebņevas Border Control Point entry to Latvia was denied to 1 citizen of Russia, as the foreigner did not possess valid visa or residential permit. Person was returned to the country of departure.
- Violations of resident conditions were detected to 2 foreigners
At the Terehova and Grebneva Border Control Point 1 citizen of Kirgistan and 1 of Russia, who violated the conditions of residence in the territory of the Schengen states (were not in possession of valid visa or residence permit), were detected. Persons were subject to administrative liability.
While carrying out immigration control measures within the country violations of entry or residence conditions were detected to 12 persons - 7 citizens of Ukrain, 2 – of Lithuania, 2 – of Uzbekistan and 1 – of Turkey.
For violation of terms and conditions in the field of operation of vehicles and vessels 6 persons were subjected to administrative liability by officials of the State Boarder Guard of Latvia – 3 citizens of Russia, 2– of Belarus and 1 – of Latvia.
