On Wednesday the 18th of November, 2020 the State Border Guard's officials detected 10 offenders at external borders and within the country.
2 trespassers were detected at external borders including entry into Latvia were denied to 2 foreigners. At Terehova Border Control Point entry to Latvia was denied to 1 citizen of Iran, as the foreigner did not possess valid visa or residential permit, while at Terehova Border Control Point entry to Latvia was denied to 1 citizen of Russia, as the foreigner has a ban to enter into and stay in the territory of the Schengen Area. Persons were returned to the country of departure.
While carrying out immigration control measures within the country violations of entry or residence conditions were detected to 1 citizen of Uzbekistan.
For violation of terms and conditions in the field of operation of vehicles and vessels 7 persons were subjected to administrative liability by officials of the State Boarder Guard of Latvia – 2 citizens of Belarus, 2 – of Latvia, 1 – of Russia, 1 – of Kazahstan and 1 – of Ukrain.
