On Monday the 19th of November, 2018 the State Border Guard's officials detected 32 offenders at external borders and within the country.

17 trespassers were detected at external borders, including:

2 foreigners were refused entry into Latvia

At the Pāternieki Border Control Point 2 citizens of Ukraine were refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigners could not justify the purpose and conditions of entry into and stay in the country and they were not in possession of sufficient means of subsistence to visit the Schengen states. The persons were returned to the exit countries

Violations of resident conditions were detected to 3 foreigners

At the Pāternieki and the "Riga" Airport Border Control Points 2 citizens of Belarus and 1 - of Ukraine, who violated the conditions of residence in the territory of the Schengen states (exceeded the period of stay laid down in a visa), were detected. Record-keeping regarding administrative violations committed by 1 citizen of Ukraine was not commenced, the other persons were subject to administrative liability.

1 citizen of Latvia was refused exit from the country

At the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 1 minor Latvian citizen, who was not in possession of notarially certified agreement of the second parent for his independent travelling outside Latvia, was detected. The person was refused exit from Latvia.

While carrying out immigration control measures within the country violations of entry or residence conditions were detected to 4 persons - 2 citizens of Estonia, 1 - of Lithuania and 1 - of Russia.

For violation of terms and conditions in the field of operation of vehicles and vessels 11 persons were subjected to administrative liability by officials of the State Boarder Guard of Latvia - 4 citizens of Russia, 2 - of Lithuania, 2 - of Latvia, 1 - of Poland, 1 - of Czech Republic and 1 - of Serbia.
