On Tuesday the 19th of November, 2019 the State Border Guard's officials detected 28 offenders at external borders and within the country.
14 trespassers were detected at external borders, including:
1 foreigner with forged documents was detectedAt the Pāternieki Border Control Point 1 citizen of Belarus entered Latvia with forged Lithuanian International Vehicle Insurance Policy, was detected. Criminal proceedings were initiated for the use of forged documents. The forged document was seized within the framework of the criminal proceedings.
4 foreigners were refused entry into LatviaAt the Pāternieki and the "Riga" Airport Border Control Points 1 citizen of Russia and 2 - of Ukraine were refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigners could not justify the purpose and conditions of entry into and stay in the country and they were not in possession of sufficient means of subsistence to visit the Schengen states; as well as 1 citizen of Ukraine was refused entry into the country, as the foreigner has a ban to enter into and stay in the territory of the Schengen Area. The persons were returned to the exit countries.
Violations of resident conditions were detected to 3 foreignersAt the Terehova and the "Riga" Airport Border Control Points 1 citizen of Tajikistan, 1 - of Russia and 1 - of Ukraine, who violated the conditions of residence in the territory of the Schengen states (exceeded the period of stay laid down in a visa), were detected. Record-keeping regarding administrative violations committed by the citizen of Russia was not commenced, the other persons were subject to administrative liability.
While carrying out immigration control measures within the country violations of entry or residence conditions were detected to 3 persons - 1 citizen of Latvia, 1 - of Uzbekistan and 1 - of Ukraine.
For violation of terms and conditions in the field of operation of vehicles and vessels 11 persons were subjected to administrative liability by officials of the State Boarder Guard of Latvia - 3 citizens of Latvia, 3 - of Lithuania, 2 - of Estonia, 1 - of Germany, 1 - of Russia and 1 - of Georgia.
