On Tuesday the 20th of November, 2018 the State Border Guard's officials detected 26 offenders at external borders and within the country.
14 trespassers were detected at external borders, including:
1 citizen of Latvia, who is on the police wanted list, was detainedAt the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 1 citizen of Latvia, entered the country from London, who is on the police wanted list was detected. The man, born in 1990, was detained and handed over to the State Police officers.
3 foreigners were refused entry into LatviaAt the Silene Border Control Point 1 citizen of Belarus was refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigner was not in possession of valid visa or residence permit. At the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 1 citizen of China was refused entry into the country as the foreigner could not justify the purpose and conditions of entry into and stay in the country. While at the Pāternieki Border Control Point 1 citizen of Belarus was refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigner has resided on the territory of Schengen member states for 90 days within the previous 180-day period. The persons were returned to the exit countries.
1 citizen of Latvia was refused exit from the countryAt the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 1 citizen of Latvia (woman), who was not in possession of valid travel document, was detected. The person was refused exit from the country.
While carrying out immigration control measures within the country violations of entry or residence conditions were detected to 5 persons - 3 citizens of Lithuania and 2 - of Russia.
For violation of terms and conditions in the field of operation of vehicles and vessels 7 persons were subjected to administrative liability by officials of the State Boarder Guard of Latvia - 2 citizens of Latvia, 1 - of Lithuania, 1 - of Estonia, 1 - of Poland, 1 - of Russia and 1 - of Belarus.
