On Thursday the 21st of November, 2019 the State Border Guard's officials detected 42 offenders at external borders and within the country.

22 trespassers were detected at external borders, including:

1 person, who is on the police wanted list, was detained

At the Silene Border Control Point 1 citizen of Belarus, who is on the Police wanted list, was detected. The man, born in 1992, was detained and handed over to the State Police officers.

3 foreigners were refused entry into Latvia

At the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 1 citizen of Azerbaijan and 2 - of Ukraine were refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigners could not justify the purpose and conditions of entry into and stay in the country and they were not in possession of sufficient means of subsistence to visit the Schengen states. The persons were returned to the exit countries.

Violations of resident conditions were detected to 2 foreigners

At the Terehova and the "Riga" Airport Border Control Points 1 citizen of Kirgizstan and 1 - of Russia, who violated the conditions of residence in the territory of the Schengen states (exceeded the period of stay laid down in a visa), were detected. The persons were subject to administrative liability.

2 citizens of Latvia were refused exit from the country

At the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 2 citizens (females) of Latvia, who were not in possession of valid travel document, were detected. The persons were refused exit from the country.

While carrying out immigration control measures within the country violations of entry or residence conditions were detected to 8 persons - 4 citizens of Ukraine, 2 - of Lithuania, 1 - of Latvia and 1 -of Finland.

For violation of terms and conditions in the field of operation of vehicles and vessels 12 persons were subjected to administrative liability by officials of the State Boarder Guard of Latvia - 5 citizens of Belarus, 4 - of Russia and 3 - of Latvia.
