On Friday the 22nd of November, 2019 the State Border Guard's officials detected 27 offenders at external borders and within the country.

16 trespassers were detected at external borders, including:

1 foreigner with forged documents was detected

At the Silene Border Control Point 1 citizen of Belarus, entered Latvia with forged Belarusian Driving Licence, was detected. Criminal procedure was initiated for the use of forged documents. The forged document was seized within the framework of the criminal procedure.

1 citizen of Latvia, who is on the police wanted list, was detained

At the Riga Passenger Port 1 citizen of Latvia entered Latvia from Sweden, who is on the Police wanted list, was detected. The woman, born in 1979, was detained and handed over to the State Police officers.

2 foreigners were refused entry into Latvia

At the Pāternieki Border Control Point 1 citizen of Belarus, who was not in possession of valid visa or residence permit, was refused entry into Latvia; as well as 1 citizen of Ukraine was refused entry into the country, as the foreigner could not justify the purpose and conditions of entry into and stay in the country and he was not in possession of sufficient means of subsistence to visit the Schengen states. The persons were returned to the exit countries.

Violations of resident conditions were detected to 2 foreigners

At the Terehova Border Control Point 2 citizens of Moldova, who violated the conditions of residence in the territory of the Schengen states (exceeded the period of stay of the visa free-regime), were detected. The persons were subject to administrative liability.

While carrying out immigration control measures within the country violations of entry or residence conditions were detected to 2 persons - 1 citizen of Lithuania and 1 - of Russia.

For violation of terms and conditions in the field of operation of vehicles and vessels 9 persons were subjected to administrative liability by officials of the State Boarder Guard of Latvia - 4 citizens of Belarus, 2 - of Lithuania, 2 - of Latvia and 1 - of Moldova.
