On Tuesday the 24th of November, 2020 the State Border Guard's officials detected 17 offenders at external borders and within the country.
7 trespassers were detected at external borders:
- Entry into Latvia was denied to 1 foreigner
At Terehova Border Control Point entry to Latvia was denied to 1 citizen of Russia, as the foreigner did not possess valid visa or residential permit. Person was returned to the country of departure.
- Violations of resident conditions were detected to 2 foreigners
At the Terehova and Paternieki Border Control Point 1 citizen of Uzbekistan and 1 – of Belarus, who violated the conditions of residence in the territory of the Schengen states (was not in possession of valid visa or residence permit, the period of stay specified in the visa was exceeded), were detected. Persons were subject to administrative liability.
While carrying out immigration control measures within the country violations of entry or residence conditions were detected to 6 persons – 3 citizens of Uzbekistan, 1 – of Russia, 1 – of Estonia and 1 – of Ukrain.
For violation of terms and conditions in the field of operation of vehicles and vessels 4 persons were subjected to administrative liability by officials of the State Boarder Guard of Latvia – 1 citizen of Russia, 1 – of Lithuania, 1– of Latviaand 1 – of Kazahstan.
