Events at the state border and within the country - November 26, 2019

On Tuesday the 26th of November, 2019 the State Border Guard's officials detected 25 offenders at external borders and within the country.

11 trespassers were detected at external borders, including:

Violations of resident conditions were detected to 4 foreigners

At the Terehova, the Zilupe, the Silene and the "Riga" Airport Border Control Points 3 citizens of Russia and 1 - of Belarus, who violated the conditions of residence in the territory of the Schengen states (were not in possession of valid visa or residence permit, exceeded the period of stay laid down in a visa), were detected. Record-keeping regarding administrative violations committed by 1 citizen of Russia was not commenced, the other persons were subject to administrative liability.

1 citizen of Lithuania was refused exit from the country

At the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 1 citizen of Lithuania, who was not in possession of valid travel document, was detected. The person was refused exit from the country.

While carrying out immigration control measures within the country violations of entry or residence conditions were detected to 7 persons - 4 citizens of Russia, 2 - of Ukraine and 1 - of Moldova.

For violation of terms and conditions in the field of operation of vehicles and vessels 7 persons were subjected to administrative liability by officials of the State Boarder Guard of Latvia - 2 citizens of Latvia, 2 - of Belarus, 1 - of Lithuania, 1 - of Estonia and 1 - of Serbia.
