31 trespassers were detected at external borders, including:

3 foreigners with forged documents were detected

At the Grebņeva Border Control Point 1 citizen of Kirgizstan leaving Latvia by truck with trailer, who presented forged Bulgarian International Vehicle Insurance Policy, was detected. The person was subject to administrative liability. The forged document was seized. At the Terehova Border Control Point 1 citizen of Russia (woman), leaving Latvia by car with forged Russian Driving Licence, was detected. Criminal procedure was initiated for the use of forged documents. The forged document was seized within the framework of criminal procedure. At the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 1 citizen of Turkey entered Latvia, who presented forged Bulgarian Passport, was detected. Criminal procedure was initiated for the use of forged documents. The person was placed in a State Police short-term detention facility.

1 citizen of Lithuania, who is on the police wanted list, was detained

At the Terehova Border Control Point 1 citizen of Lithuania leaving Latvia, who is on the Police wanted list, was detected. The man, born in 1979, was detained and handed over to the State Police officers.

6 foreigners were refused entry into Latvia

At the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 1 citizen of Russia, 1 - of Ukraine and 3 - of Azerbaijan were refused entry into Latvia, as they could not justify the purpose and conditions of entry into and stay in the country and they were not in possession of sufficient means of subsistence to visit the Schengen states. While at the Silene Border Control Point 1 citizen of Belarus was refused entry into the country, as the foreigner has already resided on the territory of Schengen member states for 90 days within the previous 180-day period. The persons were returned to the exit countries.

Violations of resident conditions were detected to 2 foreigners

At the Terehova and the "Riga" Airport Border Control Points 1 citizen of Tajikistan and 1 - of Russia, who violated the conditions of residence in the territory of the Schengen states (exceeded the period of stay laid down in a visa), were detected. The persons were subject to administrative liability.

While carrying out immigration control measures within the country violations of entry or residence conditions were detected to 4 persons - 2 citizens of Russia, 1 - of Canada and 1 - of Lithuania.

For violation of terms and conditions in the field of operation of vehicles and vessels 9 persons were subjected to administrative liability by officials of the State Boarder Guard of Latvia - 2 citizens of Russia, 2 - of Latvia, 1 - of Kazakhstan, 1 - of Uzbekistan, 1 - of Ukraine, 1 - of Belarus and 1 - of Estonia.
