On Thursday the 29th of November, 2018 the State Border Guard's officials detected 34 offenders at external borders and within the country.

13 trespassers were detected at external borders, including:

4 foreigners were refused entry into Latvia

At the Silene and the "Riga" Airport Border Control Points 2 citizens of Georgia and 2 - of Ukraine were refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigners could not justify the purpose and conditions of entry into and stay in the country and they were not in possession of sufficient means of subsistence to visit the Schengen states. While at the Silene Border Control Point 1 citizen of Belarus was refused entry into Latvia as the foreigner has resided on the territory of Schengen member states for 90 days within the previous 180-day period. The persons were returned to the exit countries.

Violations of resident conditions were detected to 2 foreigners

At the Pāternieki and the "Riga" Airport Border Control Points 1 citizen of Uzbekistan and 1 - of Ukraine, who violated the conditions of residence in the territory of the Schengen states (exceeded the period of stay laid down in a visa), were detected. The persons were subject to administrative liability.

1 citizen of Latvia was refused exit from the country

At the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 1 citizen of Latvia, who was not in possession of valid travel document, was detected. The person was refused exit from country.

While carrying out immigration control measures within the country violations of entry or residence conditions were detected to 11 persons - 4 citizens of Lithuania, 4 - of Ukraine, 2 - of Estonia and 1 - of Russia.

For violation of terms and conditions in the field of operation of vehicles and vessels 10 persons were subjected to administrative liability by officials of the State Boarder Guard of Latvia - 3 citizens of Russia, 2 - of Latvia, 2 - of Ukraine, 1 - of Lithuania, 1 - of Uzbekistan and 1 - of Macedonia.
