On Friday the 30th of November, 2018 the State Border Guard's officials detected 24 offenders at external borders and within the country.
11 trespassers were detected at external borders, including:
1 citizen of Latvia, who is on the police wanted list, was detainedAt the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 1 citizen of Latvia, leaving Riga for London, who is on the police wanted list was detected. The man, born in 1992, was detained and handed over to the State Police officers.
1 foreigner was refused entry into LatviaAt the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 1 citizen of Armenia was refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigner could not justify the purpose and conditions of entry into and stay in the country. The person was returned to the exit country.
Violations of resident conditions were detected to 2 foreignersAt the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 1 citizen of Ukraine and 1 - of Georgia, who violated the conditions of residence in the territory of the Schengen states (were not in possession of valid visa or residence permit, exceeded the period of stay of the visa-free regime), were detected. Record-keeping regarding administrative violations committed by 1 citizen of Ukraine was not commenced, the other person was subject to administrative liability.
While carrying out immigration control measures within the country violations of entry or residence conditions were detected to 4 persons - 3 citizens of Estonia and 1- of Lithuania.
For violation of terms and conditions in the field of operation of vehicles and vessels 9 persons were subjected to administrative liability by officials of the State Boarder Guard of Latvia - 2 citizens of Ukraine, 2 - of Lithuania, 2 - of Latvia, 1 - of Russia, 1 - of Macedonia and 1 - of Estonia.
