On Friday the 6th of November, 2020 the State Border Guard's officials detected 16 offenders at external borders and within the country.
8 trespassers were detected at external borders, including 1 foreigner was refused entry into Latvia. At the Paternieki Border Control Point 1 citizen of Kirgistan was refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigner violated Cabinet of Ministers Regulation No. 360 "Epidemiological precautions to control the spread of Covid - 19 infection". The person was returned to the exit countries.
While carrying out immigration control measures within the country violations of entry or residence conditions were detected to 4 persons - 2 citizens of Russia, 1 – Belarus and 1 – of Estonia.
For violation of terms and conditions in the field of operation of vehicles and vessels 4 persons were subjected to administrative liability or were refused to cross the border by officials of the State Boarder Guard - 1 citizen of Belarus, 1 – of Kazahstan, 1 – of Poland and 1 – of Estonia.
