On Monday the 9th of November, 2020 the State Border Guard's officials detected 8 offenders at external borders and within the country.
2 trespassers were detected at external borders:
- Entry to Latvia was denied to 1 foreigner
At the Terehova Border Control Points 1 citizen of Russia was refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigner has resided on the territory of Schengen member states for 90 days within the previous 180-day period. The person was returned to the country of exit.
- Violations of resident conditions was detected to 1 foreigner
At the Terehova Border Control Point 1 citizen of Russia, who violated the conditions of residence in the territory of the Schengen states (was not in possession of valid visa or residence permit), was detected. Person was subject to administrative liability.
For violation of terms and conditions in the field of operation of vehicles and vessels 6 persons were subjected to administrative liability by officials of the State Boarder Guard of Latvia – 2 citizens of Estonia, 1 – of Lithuania, 1 – of Austria, 1 – of Belarus and 1 – of Latvia.
