At the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 2 citizens of Latvia, leaving Riga for London, who are on the police wanted list, were detected. The woman, born in 1997 and the man, born in 1987, were detained and handed over to the State Police officers.
10 foreigners were refused entry into LatviaAt the Pāternieki and the Terehova Border Control Points 1 citizen of Ukraine was refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigner was not in possession of valid travel document; 4 citizens of Mongolia, 2 - of Russia and 1 - of Belarus were refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigners were not in possession of valid visa or residence permit; 1 citizen of Ukraine (woman) was refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigner has resided on the territory of Schengen member states for 90 days within the previous 180-day period; 1 citizen of Ukraine was refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigner could not justify the purpose and conditions of entry into and stay in the country and he was not in possession of sufficient means of subsistence to visit the Schengen states. The persons were returned to the exit countries.
Violations of resident conditions were detected to 4 foreignersAt the Terehova and the "Riga" Airport Border Control Points 3 citizens of Russia and 1 - of Kazakhstan, who violated the conditions of residence in the territory of the Schengen states (were not in possession of valid visa or residence permit, exceeded the period of stay laid down in a visa,), were detected. Record-keeping regarding administrative violations committed by 1 citizen of Russia was not commenced, the other person was subject to administrative liability.
2 citizens of Latvia were refused exit from the countryAt the Silene Border Control Point 1 minor citizen of Latvia, who was not in possession of notarially certified agreement of the parents for her independent travelling outside Latvia, was detected. While at the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 1 citizen of Latvia (woman), who was not in possession of valid travel document, was detected. The persons were refused exit from Latvia.
While carrying out immigration control measures within the country violations of entry or residence conditions were detected to 6 persons - 3 citizens of Estonia, 2 - of Ukraine and 1 - of Lithuania.
For violation of terms and conditions in the field of operation of vehicles and vessels 11 persons were subjected to administrative liability by officials of the State Boarder Guard of Latvia - 5 citizens of Russia, 2 - of Estonia, 2 - Belarus, 1 - of Lithuania and 1 - of Latvia.
