Events at the state border and within the country - October 07, 2018

On Sunday the 7th of October, 2018 the State Border Guard's officials detected 40 offenders at external borders and within the country.

24 trespassers were detected at external borders, including:

2 foreigners with forged documents were detected

At the Terehova Border Control Point 1 citizen of Russia, leaving Latvia by car, with forged Russian International vehicle insurance policy was detected. Criminal proceedings were initiated for using forged documents. While at the Silene Border Control Point 1 citizen of Ukraine with forged Ukrainian vehicle registration certificate was detected. The person was subject to administrative liability.

Violations of resident conditions were detected to 6 foreigners

At the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 3 citizens of Georgia, 1 - of Russia, 1 - of Ukraine and 1 - of Moldova, who violated the conditions of residence in the territory of the Schengen states (were not in possession of valid visa or residence permit, exceeded the period of stay laid down in a visa), were detected. Record-keeping regarding administrative violations committed by 1 citizen of Russia was not commenced, the other
persons were subject to administrative liability.

1 citizens of Latvia was refused exit from the country

At the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 1 citizen of Latvia, who was not in possession of valid travel document, was detected. The person was refused exit from the country.

While carrying out immigration control measures within the country violations of entry or residence conditions were detected to 3 citizens of Lithuania.

For violation of terms and conditions in the field of operation of vehicles and vessels 13 persons were subjected to administrative liability by officials of the State Boarder Guard of Latvia - 5 citizens of Russia, 3 - of Lithuania, 3 - of Latvia, 1 - of Moldova and 1 - of Estonia.
