On Sunday, 21 October, officials of the State Border Guard at the external borders and within the country detected 47 offenders.
At the external borders 20 offenders were detected, including:
Detected 1 citizen of Latvia in searchAt "Riga" airport Border Control Point detected 1 citizen of Latvia traveling from Glasgow , who was in the police search. Man, born in 1993, was detained and handed over to the State Police officials.
Breach of the stay requirements identified to 4 foreigners:At "Riga" airport Border Control Point 2 citizens of Ukraine and 2 citizens of Kazakhstan who had violated residence regulations in the territory of Schengen states (did not have valid visa or residence permit) were detected. Administrative proceedings in administrative violation case were not initiated to the citizens of Ukraine, other persons were subjected to administrative liability.
At Silenes Border Control Point detected one underage citizen of Latvia who didn't have power of attorney from one of the parents to leave the country independently. Meanwhile at "Riga" airport Border Control Point detected 1 underage Latvian citizen who didn't have any documents certifying parents' consent of leaving the country. Both minors were denied to leave the country.
Immigration control measures inside the country, violation of entry or stay regulations was detected to 11 persons - 7 citizens of Lithuania, 3 of Estonia and 1 of Russia.
On infringements in the field of vehicle and vessels operations, the State Border Guard officials have called for administrative liability 16 persons - 5 citizens of Russia, 4 of Belorussia, 2 of Latvia, 1 of Lithuania , 1 of Estonia, 1 of Kyrgyzstan, 1 of Ukraine and 1 of Belgium.
