On Tuesday the 23rd of October, 2018 the State Border Guard's officials detected 33 offenders at external borders and within the country.

15 trespassers were detected at external borders, including:

3 foreigners were refused entry into Latvia

At the Terehova and the Pāternieki Border Control Points 1 citizen of Moldova and 1 - of Ukraine were refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigners were not in possession of valid visa or residence permit. While at the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 1 citizen of Ukraine was refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigner has resided on the territory of Schengen member states for 90 days within the previous 180-day period. The persons were returned to the exit countries.

Violations of resident conditions were detected to 4 foreigners

At the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 1 citizen of China, 1 - of Ukraine, 1 - of USA and 1 - of Russia, who violated the conditions of residence in the territory of the Schengen states (exceeded the period of stay laid down in a visa, exceeded the period of stay of the visa-free regime), were detected. The persons were subject to administrative liability.

1 non-citizen of Latvia was refused exit from the country

At the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 1 non-citizen of Latvia, who was not in possession of valid travel document, was detected. The person was refused exit from the country.

While carrying out immigration control measures within the country violations of entry or residence conditions were detected to 8 persons - 2 citizens of Russia, 2 - of Estonia, 1 - of Latvia, 1 - of Lithuania, 1 - of Russia and 1 - of Ukraine.

For violation of terms and conditions in the field of operation of vehicles and vessels 10 persons were subjected to administrative liability by officials of the State Boarder Guard of Latvia - 3 citizens of Latvia, 2 - of Russia, 2 - of Lithuania, 2 - of Belarus and 1 - of Ukraine.
