On Friday the 26th of October, 2018 the State Border Guard's officials detected 34 offenders at external borders and within the country.

16 trespassers were detected at external borders, including:

1 foreigner was refused entry into Latvia

At the Pededze Border Control Point 1 citizen of Russia was refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigner was not in possession of valid visa or residence permit. The person was returned to the exit country.

Violations of resident conditions were detected to 3 foreigners

At the Terehova, the Pāternieki and the "Riga" Airport Border Control Points 1 citizen of Tajikistan, 1 - of Ukraine and 1 - of USA, who violated the conditions of residence in the territory of the Schengen states (exceeded the period of stay laid down in a visa, exceeded the period of stay of the visa-free regime), were detected. The persons were subject to administrative liability.

1 citizen of Latvia was refused exit from the country

At the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 1 minor citizen of Latvia, who was not in possession of notarially certified agreement of at least one of his parents for child independent travelling outside Latvia, was detected. The person was refused exit from the country.

While carrying out immigration control measures within the country violations of entry or residence conditions were detected to 5 persons - 3 citizens of Lithuania and 2 - of Estonia.

For violation of terms and conditions in the field of operation of vehicles and vessels 13 persons were subjected to administrative liability by officials of the State Boarder Guard of Latvia - 4 citizens of Latvia, 3 -Belarus, 3 - of Lithuania, 2 - of Russia and 1 - of Mongolia.
