On Thursday the 31st of October, 2019 the State Border Guard's officials detected 32 offenders at external borders and within the country.
12 trespassers were detected at external borders, including:
1 foreigner with forged documents was detectedAt the Pāternieki Border Control Point 1 citizen of Ukraine entered Latvia with forged Lithuanian border stamp marks in her passport, was detected. Criminal proceedings were initiated for the use of forged documents. The person was placed into the State Police short-term detention facilities.
1 foreigner was refused entry into LatviaAt the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 1 citizen of Eritrea was refused entry into the country, as the foreigner could not justify the purpose and conditions of entry into and stay in the country. The person was returned to the exit country.
Violations of resident conditions were detected to 1 foreignerAt the Terehova Border Control Point 1 citizen of Kazakhstan, who violated the conditions of residence in the territory of the Schengen states (exceeded the period of stay laid down in a visa), was detected. The person was subject to administrative liability.
While carrying out immigration control measures within the country violations of entry or residence conditions were detected to 2 persons - 1 citizen of Uzbekistan and 1 - stateless person of Estonia.
For violation of terms and conditions in the field of operation of vehicles and vessels 18 persons were subjected to administrative liability by officials of the State Boarder Guard of Latvia - 5 citizens of Ukraine, 4 - of Russia, 2 - of Belarus, 1 - of Kazakhstan, 1 - of Tajikistan, 1 - of Germany, 1 - of Estonia, 1 - of Uzbekistan, 1 - of Poland and 1 - of Latvia.
