On Saturday the 31th of October, 2020 the State Border Guard's officials detected 27 offenders at external borders and within the country.
12 trespassers were detected at external borders:
- 2 foreigners were refused entry into Latvia
At the Paternieki Border Control Point 1 citizen of Ukrain was refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigner don’t have valid visa or residence permits. while at the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 1 citizen of Georgia were refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigner has a ban to enter into and stay in the territory of the Schengen Area. The persons were returned to the exit countries.
- Violations of resident conditions was detected to 5 foreigners
At the Grebneva, Terehova and "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 1 citizen of Russia, 1 – of Uzbekistan and 3 - of Georgia, who violated the conditions of residence in the territory of the Schengen states (were not in possession of valid visa or residence permit, exceeded the period of stay laid down in a visa, exceeded the period of stay specified in the visa-free regime), were detected. Persons were subject to administrative liability.
While carrying out immigration control measures within the country violations of entry or residence conditions were detected to 8 citizens of Georgia.
For violation of terms and conditions in the field of operation of vehicles and vessels 7 persons were subjected to administrative liability or were refused to cross the border by officials of the State Boarder Guard - 2 citizens of Belarus, 2 – of Kazahstan, 1 – of Lithuania, 1 – of Ukrain and 1 – of Moldova.
