On Saturday the 1st of September, 2018 the State Border Guard's officials detected 41 offenders at external borders and within the country.
24 trespassers were detected at external borders, including:
2 persons with forged documents were detectedAt the Terehova Border Control Point 1 citizen of Russia, leaving the country by car and presented forged Russian vehicle registration certificate, was detected. The person was subject to administrative liability. At the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 1 citizen of Ukraine, entered into Latvia and in which passport there is a forged Polish marks of the border crossing, was detected. The person was returned to the exit country.
10 foreigners were refused entry into LatviaAt the Terehova Border Control Point 1 citizen of Russia and 1 of Moldova (female) were refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigners were not in possession of valid visa or residence permit. At the Pāternieki Border Control Point 2 citizens of Moldova and 6 of Ukraine were refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigners could not justify the purpose and conditions of entry into and stay in the country and they were not in possession of sufficient means of subsistence to visit the Schengen states. The persons were returned to the exit countries.
Violations of resident conditions were detected to 2 foreignersAt the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 1 citizen of Russia and 1 - of Tajikistan, who violated the conditions of residence in the territory of the Schengen states (exceeded the period of stay laid down in a visa), were detected. The persons were subject to administrative liability.
While carrying out immigration control measures within the country violations of entry or residence conditions were detected to 4 persons - 3 citizens of Estonia and 1 - of Lithuania.
For violation of terms and conditions in the field of operation of vehicles and vessels 13 persons were subjected to administrative liability by officials of the State Boarder Guard of Latvia - 5 citizens of Belarus, 3 - of Latvia, 2 - of German, 2 - of Russia and 1 - of Ukraine.
